Deploy Alveo Accelereation Cards on Premises or Cloud

AMD GraphAnalytics products require Alveo acceleration cards to run. Follow instructions below to deploy Alveo accleration cards on premisis or cloud:

Install Alveo Accelerator Card on-premises

  • Power off the server

  • Plug Alveo U50 or U55C cards into PCIe Gen3 x16 slots

  • Power on the server

Start AWS EC2 F1 Instances

Note

Currently only Entity Resolution is available on AWS F1.

Amazon EC2 F1 instances use FPGAs to enable delivery of custom hardware accelerations. Follow instructions below to start AWS EC2 F1 instances:

  • Go to the application specific Amazon AMI on AWS Marketplace. For example for Fuzzy Match Application go to: AMD/Xilinx FuzzyMatch AMI

  • Select one of the supported EC2 instance types: f1.2xlarge, f1.4xlarge, and f1.8xlarge

  • Start EC2 F1 instances
