Introduction

Welcome to the MLIR-AIE project: an MLIR-based toolchain for AMD AI Engine devices, and the foundation of the IRON close-to-metal programming interface for Ryzen™ AI NPUs.

This documentation describes the internal C++ APIs that make up the MLIR-AIE compiler and runtime libraries. It is a reference for developers working on the toolchain itself, not a usage guide.
